W.E.B Production Results – March 2026
04/2026 - Back to overview
Very mild and sunny – monthly production below plan
Total production for the month came in at 157,504 MWh, falling short of the planned target.
Last March was not a typical “stormy transition month,” but rather split into two distinct phases: extended calm and sunny periods lasting well beyond mid-month, followed by the passage of a pronounced low-pressure system toward the end of the month, bringing significantly windier conditions. Due to the prolonged high-pressure weather pattern and the associated below-average wind conditions, planned production targets were not met in Austria, Germany, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, and the United States. Only Canada experienced stronger air movement, allowing production to exceed the planned target.
In the solar segment, Austria and the Czech Republic performed above plan. Weather conditions were slightly more overcast in Germany, Italy, Slovakia, and the United States, where targets were missed.
