W.E.B Production Results — April 2026
05/2026 - Back to overview
Sunny and extremely dry – monthly production below target
Total monthly production came in below plan at 137,511 MWh.
Weather conditions during the second month of spring were characterized by extreme dryness and above-average temperatures — with no sign of typical April weather. Persistent high-pressure systems and the resulting weak wind conditions caused production targets to be missed in Germany, France, Canada, and the United States. More dynamic weather patterns prevailed in Austria, Italy, and the Czech Republic, where production targets were fortunately exceeded.
Thanks to mostly above-average sunshine hours, planned production targets in the solar PV segment were exceeded in Austria, Slovakia, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the United States. Conditions in Italy were somewhat cloudier, resulting in production below target there.
