Mild and dry with extensive high fog – monthly production below plan

Total monthly production amounted to 148,650 MWh, coming in below the planned target.

December was characterized by frequent high-pressure weather systems and the inversion conditions typical for winter. As a result, the month was dominated by high atmospheric pressure, leading to persistent fog and high fog layers, largely dry conditions, and generally weak winds. Consequently, planned production targets could not be achieved in Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, France, and Italy. Somewhat more dynamic air masses were observed in Canada and along the U.S. East Coast, where production exceeded targets.

Due to the frequent foggy conditions, planned production levels in the PV segment could not be reached in Germany, the Czech Republic, and the United States. Weather conditions were slightly sunnier in Austria, Italy, and Slovakia, allowing planned targets to be exceeded in those countries.
