Summer weather in early autumn – production results below target

The overall monthly production of 62,605 MWh remained below the projected target for September.
The meteorological beginning of autumn was still mostly characterized by midsummer weather systems. Although a “little autumn storm” swept across the country in the second half of the month, it could not make up for the production deficit. Austria, the Czech Republic, and France did not reach their targets. Germany, on the other hand, was able to brave the difficult weather situation and generated positive results. Both Canada and the United States could not perform as expected.

One of the sunniest Septembers ensured a consistently strong plus in the Austrian, Czech, and Italian photovoltaic segment. This effect was even further enhanced thanks to our newly commissioned plants.

While the Austrian hydroelectric power segment could not keep up due to the extended drought, Germany’s production remains at a standstill due to the renovation of our hydroelectric power plant.
