W.E.B Production Report – November 2025
12/2025 - Back to overview
A month of two halves with plenty of sunshine – production below plan
The total monthly production reached 149,593 MWh, falling short of the planned target.
The first half of November brought several high-pressure systems, plenty of sunshine, and temperatures well above average — essentially a “golden November.” After mid-month, however, polar air moved in and temperatures dropped significantly. Due to the persistent high-pressure influence and the resulting weak wind conditions in many areas, planned production levels could not be met in Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Italy. In contrast, stronger airflows in France, Canada, and along the U.S. East Coast helped these regions exceed their production targets.
Thanks to mostly above-average sunshine levels, the PV segment exceeded its planned production in Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Slovakia. Weather conditions were slightly cloudier in Germany and the U.S., resulting in missed PV targets in those regions.
