W.E.B Production Report – July 2025

08/2025 - Back to overview

Cool and Rainy – Monthly Production Exceeds Target

Total production for the month reached 113,162 MWh, exceeding the planned target.

While the month initially began under high-pressure conditions in many areas, a cold front soon brought a lasting shift in weather patterns. By the end of the month, several low-pressure systems—with only brief interruptions—brought unstable weather to large parts of Central Europe. As a result, planned production targets were exceeded in Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Canada. In contrast, atmospheric conditions were less dynamic in France, Italy, and the U.S. East Coast, where production goals were not met.

Due to frequent overcast skies, the photovoltaic (PV) segment fell short of targets in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Italy. However, weather conditions were somewhat sunnier in Austria, Slovakia, and the U.S., allowing production targets to be surpassed in those regions.
