WEB Renewable Energy USA LLC (WEB USA) is developing a large-scale wind project in Jefferson County, New York, called the Worth Wind Project (the Project). The Project is expected to be 70 megawatts (MW) AC with the potential to power roughly 22,000 homes across New York State annually.

WEB USA has identified Jefferson County as a suitable site for the Worth Wind Project. The Project is located in the Town of Worth. This site was selected due to a variety of factors such as available grid capacity, appropriate land use types, adequate space for a large-scale wind project, adequate wind speed levels, minimal physical constraints, and minimal potential for environmental impacts.  

The Project will contribute to the local communities by producing tax revenues, employment opportunities, and other economic and social benefits for the area.
