W.E.B once again analyzed the electricity mix of W.E.B Green Energy according to energy sources as the basis for the power labelling system in 2017. In contrast to previous years, the wind energy ratio was raised considerably in the period between January 1 and December 31, 2017. The share of wind energy amounted to a total of 67.29 percent in 2017, an increase of 7.88 percent compared to 2016. W.E.B is proud to have more and more customers relying on W.E.B Green Energy as a sustainable alternative. It is also this success that made it possible for the Breitenlee wind farm to provide all the electricity generated by its three wind power plants directly to W.E.B Green Energy customers. In consequence, the wind farm in Vienna’s 22nd district is one of the main reasons for the increased wind energy ratio.
